Hi! I'm Hina. I teach handstands, yoga, strength and mobility for adults, and gymnastics for children based in Tokyo.

My handstand journey actually started when I was 11. I saw kids doing handstands on TV and thought, “That looks fun!” I started practicing wall handstands on my own after school and kept learning through online videos.

Growing up, I wasn’t naturally athletic, and I also went through a period where I stepped away from school when I was in junior high, and spent most of my time at home with very little physical activity. During that time my body became deconditioned. Over time, I became more interested in understanding how the body works and how we can rebuild strength safely.

At 20, I began studying anatomy and strength training and became a certified personal trainer (NSCA). I later completed my RYT200. My background includes bodybuilding, calisthenics, yoga asana, animal flow, and other movement practices. I enjoy blending these approaches to create sessions that build both strength and mobility while playfully exploring movement.

I focus on explaining movements clearly and breaking skills down into simple, step-by-step progressions. My goal is to help each student progress at their own pace in a supportive environment.
