Arm Balance Series - Playtime with Paula -

Join us for yoga playtime where we will work on arm balances and inversions! Each Friday class will focus on different arm balances and inversions, with handstand tutorial and practice included each week. 

We will warm up, go over the foundations of hand and body positions, and learn modifications to both make a pose more effective and successful. We will go through progressions at every level, including more advanced transitions once you’ve mastered a skill.

Please bring an open mind, a sense of humor, and be ready to have a lot of fun!🤸🏻‍♀️💫

Yoga Instructor: Paula Altschuler

Paula Altschuler

Paula Altschuler has been passionate about yoga since 2010. While she initially fell in love with the athleticism, yoga has become a source of mental wellness. She has found that whether halfway around the world, moving through grief, or just having a day, the mat feels like a familiar home, the asanas create a moving meditation, and breath can always slow down the mind. Yoga has become her place of comfort.

Paula loves to get upside down whenever possible. She highly encourages you try it too! She enjoys the feeling of playing and pushing her edge. Mostly it makes her incredibly focused in the present moment! She is always happy to help you if you’re interested.

Paula completed a 200-HR Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Paula's classes aim to make you feel grounded and strong, and always playful! She currently lives in Tokyo with her husband and two sons.
